Välkommen till Kulla hus, a place in Småland where you can enjoy your holliday in Sweden. The house is situated in Småland, Vimmerby kommun. Togheter with two other houses, Kulla hus is situated directly next to the woods and from the garden you can see over a small lake. Vimmerby, known from Pippi Longstocking, is only a 20 minutes drive away.
Kulla hus can accomodate up to 6 people (+ one small child). The inside of the house is a combination of the real Swedish houses with some modern details. There are 3 bedrooms of which two bedrooms have a double bed. On the third bedroom you find two separate single beds. In the biggest bedroom there is also a crib for children available.
The house has 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath.
The large kitchen, dining room and living room are connected to each other which makes Kulla hus a very open but cosy house. There is a fireplace in the living room that can be used. The garden is all around the house and on the front side of the house there is a veranda where you can sit outside. There is also a swing in the garden.
Kulla Hus is situated in a forest rich and hilly area which is perfect for beautiful walks. Behind the house there is the Svedenleden route which you can walk or you can for example drive to Norra Kvill park or the Skurugata nature reserve where you find nice walking routes.
Included with the house is a canoe. At the other side of the road you find the Stångån river which is a nice river to go through with the canoe.
The small town of Vimmerby, known from Astrid Lindgrens Värld (Pippi Longstocking) is about 20 KM. Within a 30 to 60 minutes drive you also find adventurepark Nils Holgerson och several moose safari parcs. There is plenty to do for all ages!
When you rent Kulla Hus you can use everything that comes with the house, from the dishwasher, coffemachine and toaster, till a washingmachine and cleaning supplies. Want to have a evening on the couch? In the living room is a TV and a warm and cosy fireplace. There is also a BBQ available and you can use the canoe.
As for the beddings and towels we ask you to bring your own. When you make a reservation we will sent you the details for this.
