At the end of 2020 we decided that we wanted to take a break. We sold our house, resigned and left for Sweden in May 2021 for about 6 months. We enjoyed the Swedish countryside, the forests and the nice people to the fullest. It didn't take long before we decided that we didn’t want to give this up. We decided to stay in Sweden!

The idea to start Välhemma Husservice came when we received questions from acquaintances with a holiday home. For example, we were asked whether we could serve as a point of contact for the tenants of their house and whether we could help with cleaning between tenants. We also received the question from people who were going to buy a house in Sweden if we could support them in refurbishing the house. They wanted help with a number of things, such as painting, renovating the bathroom and some repair work.

Since we have been coming to our holiday home for years, we understood where these questions came from. When you go on holiday you want to be able to enjoy your holiday as optimally as possible. For some, this also includes some DIY work, but others prefer to go sightseeing. And when you rent it out, it is nice that there is some supervision, since you are not always around.

With Välhemma we hope to be able to unburden you! This can be sporadic, for example when you have an individual job. But it can also be done on a recurring basis, for example for the entire season. We are happy to discuss your wishes and how we can help. We believe it is important to build a relationship of trust, preferably for the longer term.
